PREKINDERGARTEN AND KINDERGARTEN CELEBRATE CARNAVAL
As a culmination of their study of South America, the PreKindergarten and Kindergarten classes came together one afternoon in October to celebrate Carnaval. The students wore hats and masks they made as they danced the Macarena. Adriana Obando, Alicia's mom, who was born and raised in Columbia, shared information, items and photos from South America. We all enjoyed churros made by Kindergarten and frozed bananas made by PreKindergarten. Mr. Sieb assisted us in cracking open a cococnut and we all had a taste of coconut milk and coconut. It was may bueno!
